October 2025: The MIRAGE Lab is heading to Vegas, baby! 🎲 Dr. McGregor and his first two lab members (Jack and Brandon) will be speaking at the ASTM International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing (ICAM) in Las Vegas, NV.
The three talks cover 1) AI for part measurement, 2) ML enabled first-time-right manufacturing, and 3) a big data approch for defective lattice experiments.

August 2025: MIRAGE member, Christine, presented her summer research as part of the Fischell Institute Internship program. Her talk was titled "3D printed impact sensors for traumatic brain injury."

July 2025: Dr. McGregor joined the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute as a panelist to discuss AI in manufacturing and key skills for the modern workforce. Webinar recording can be found here.

June 2025: MIRAGE member, Ayush, recently presented his research at the SPIE Optical Metrology conference in Munich, Germany. His talk was titled “Automated metrology for additively manufactured parts using deep learning and computer vision.”
